In the glass this wine has a deep black colour with a purple hue. The wine has a lifted floral perfume that is backed up by characters of cedar, cranberry, spearmint and loganberry with aspects of cinnamon in the background. On the palate the wine is very well balanced and medium bodied with nuances of sour cherry, raspberry and strawberry. The tannins are ripe and soft with a fine, lengthy finish. Great drinking now but will benefit from short term cellaring.
